The first stage of the Kyan Trading Competition has been exciting. With hundreds of traders exploring the platform for the first time, we’ve gotten many questions and concerns. This guide covers the most common ones, along with quick steps to resolve the issues you might be having.
If something still doesn’t work after following these instructions, please report it in our support channel on Discord or via the support chat on Kyan so our team can diagnose it.

“Signature Timed Out” / Time Desync Issue
If you receive a message like “Signature timed out”, your local device time may be out of sync with Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Kyan requires accurate device time to properly validate signatures.
How to Fix It
Enable automatic time synchronization on your device:
Mac: System Settings → General → Date & Time → Turn on Set time automatically
Windows: Settings → Time & Language → Date & Time → Enable Set time automatically
Mobile (iOS/Android): Settings → Date & Time → Enable Set Automatically
Clear the cache.
If errors persist, open a support ticket on Discord or contact us via the support chat on Kyan and include screenshots of the exact error.
“How to Get Test Tokens?”
As you sign in with a wallet for the first time, your Kyan account automatically receives 250,000 Kyan USDC — no faucet necessary.
To trade, you need to move the funds from Unallocated USDC to the portfolio you want to trade with (BTC or ETH).

“What’s My Leverage?”
You may notice that Kyan doesn’t show a leverage slider like other platforms. That’s by design.
With portfolio margin, your effective leverage is dynamic and based on your entire portfolio, not on isolated positions. Instead of choosing leverage manually, Kyan always gives you the maximum leverage your portfolio risk allows.
If you have available equity and your risk level is healthy, you can size positions freely. If not, the system will require more margin or prevent new trades.

Participate consistently in the trading competition and discussions
There is no application process. The team grants roles manually to standout contributors.
“When Is the Leaderboard Coming?”
The leaderboard is updated on a weekly basis, at the end of each week of the competition. You can now view it here.

We’re still tweaking the functionality to make sure everything is displayed correctly. If you notice that something is not showing up as it should, please let us know.
“When Will Krystals Be Distributed?”
Similar to the leaderboard, the Krystals balances are updated weekly. The first batch was distributed this week. You can see how many you got awarded in the “Leaderboard” tab.
“How Do I Turn On One-Click Trading?”
One-click trading is optional and disabled by default for safety.
How to Enable It
Go to “Portfolio”.
Go to “Settings”.
Click on the toggle next to “One-Click Trading”.
Sign with your wallet.
You’re done! One-click trading is now enabled. You can disable it at any moment by clicking on the toggle.

“Are There Bug Bounties?”
Yes! If you help us discover a bug, you’ll get the Bug Hunter role and we will reward you retroactively once the bounty program is officially implemented.
