Kyan is moving closer and closer to mainnet, but that doesn’t mean you have to sit around and wait. Whether you’re completely new to onchain derivatives or already familiar with options trading, getting comfortable with the platform before mainnet goes live can make a big difference.

The goal is simple: secure your spot to be there early, understand how Kyan works, how its risk model differs from traditional onchain venues, and how to use its core features with confidence.

To support that process, we’ve built several learning resources that help users go from first exposure to practical understanding of the platform. Below is a guide to where you can learn about Kyan, how to use it, and where to get help if you need it.

But first, make sure to join the waitlist and secure your seat for Kyan Private Beta.

Why a Private Beta?

On launch day, only users with a valid referral code will be able to trade on Kyan.

A private launch allows us to transition responsibly from test environments to live trading. It gives us the ability to observe real usage patterns, refine performance and risk controls, and ensure the platform scales safely, without opening the floodgates all at once.

Don’t Have a Code? Join the Waitlist

If you don’t have a referral code, you can still secure your place by joining the waitlist. The process is quick and straightforward:

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

Go to app.kyan.blue and connect your wallet.

Step 2: Enter Your Email Address

Enter your email address in the dedicated field and click “I don’t have a code, join waitlist.”

After you’ve completed these steps, you should see a confirmation like below.

Once you’re on the waitlist, you’ll be notified by email when access is granted. We’ll be onboarding users gradually over time, expanding access as the system proves itself under real conditions.

The Kyan Help Center

The Help Center is the fastest place to find answers to practical questions about using the platform.

It’s designed as a knowledge base covering the most common topics users encounter when navigating Kyan. Instead of searching across multiple channels, users can quickly find clear explanations of:

  • How trading works on Kyan

  • How portfolio margin functions

  • How to build combo trades

  • How to troubleshoot common issues

Kyan Help Center

For users preparing for mainnet, the Help Center is often the first stop when learning how to interact with the platform. It’s structured to answer both high-level conceptual questions and specific operational ones.

As Kyan evolves, the Help Center will continue expanding with new walkthroughs and guides.

The Premia Academy

For users who want a deeper understanding of the platform, visit the Kyan category on the Premia Academy for structured educational content.

These courses are designed to explain not just how to use Kyan, but also why the platform works the way it does.

Kyan Courses on The Premia Academy

Currently, two courses are available.

This course walks through the fundamentals of the platform, including:

  • What Kyan is

  • What core features Kyan offers

  • How to trade derivatives on Kyan

  • How to build and trade multi-leg strategies on Kyan

The goal is to provide users with a clear mental model of how the exchange operates before they start trading. For anyone new to Kyan, this is the best place to begin.

One of the most distinctive aspects of Kyan is its portfolio margin system, which means that instead of evaluating risk on a per-position basis, Kyan assesses risk across the entire portfolio.

The Portfolio Margin course explains:

  • What portfolio margin is and how it compares to isolated margin

  • How portfolio margin works on Kyan

  • How risk is calculated across positions

  • What traders should understand before using portfolio-level risk management

Because portfolio margin is central to how Kyan operates, understanding this system can significantly improve how users approach trading on the platform.

Additional courses are already in development and will continue expanding the Academy over time.

Support on Discord

Even with documentation and courses, sometimes users simply want to ask a question. For that, Kyan provides direct support through Discord.

Users can open support tickets to receive help from the team, whether they are encountering a technical issue, need clarification about platform mechanics, or want guidance on how something works.

Discord also serves as a place where the community can share feedback and discuss the platform with the team. As Kyan approaches mainnet, these conversations are an important part of improving the experience for everyone.

Preparing for Mainnet

The transition from testnet to mainnet is an important milestone. It’s also the moment when many users interact with Kyan for the first time.

Taking the time to explore the available learning resources can make that first experience significantly smoother. By understanding the platform’s mechanics, users can approach mainnet with greater clarity and confidence.

If you’re preparing for mainnet, the best place to start is simple:

Mainnet is coming. Get ready.
