March has proven to be a big month for Kyan. We finally took the leap and moved from testnet to mainnet. Along the way, we shared a series of updates, guides, and insights to bring the community along with us.

If you missed anything, here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to.

If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for the waitlist to trade on Kyan on mainnet.

Monday Alpha

Alongside product updates, we also continued sharing the biweekly Monday Alpha newsletter, written by Marty.

Monday Alpha #64 captured just how quickly the landscape can shift. While crypto prices remained relatively stable, the world didn’t. Escalating tensions in the Middle East introduced a new layer of uncertainty, reminding everyone that markets don’t move in isolation. They react to real-world events, often in ways that are difficult to predict and even harder to ignore.

That kind of environment creates both risk and opportunity.

We’ll be back to our regular Monday Alpha schedule next week, continuing to break down the forces that move markets, and what they mean in practice.

Prepare for Mainnet

In Prepare for Mainnet,” we outlined how users could get themselves ready ahead of the launch by signing up and actually understanding how to navigate the platform.

That included:

The goal was to make sure that when mainnet access opened up, people wouldn’t be starting from zero.

From Testnet to Mainnet: What We’ve Learned

Before going live, we took a step back to reflect.

In From Testnet to Mainnet: What We’ve Learned,” we shared key takeaways from the testnet phase:

  • the importance of portfolio margin

  • that features don’t mean much without effective execution

  • the crucial role of user feedback in product development

Testnet gave us direction, but it also made it clear that you can only learn so much in a controlled environment. At some point, real usage becomes the only source of truth.

How to Access Kyan on Mainnet

With the platform live, the next question became: “How do I get in?”

In How to Access Kyan on Mainnet,” we broke down the process:

  • how the waitlist works

  • how access is granted

  • what to expect once you’re in

We also set expectations clearly: Access would expand gradually, based on how the system performs under increasing usage. We’ve already delivered on that promise and let in the first batch of waitlisted users, so sign up for the waitlist if you don’t want to miss your next chance to trade on Kyan.

Why You Should Trade on Kyan Now

Finally, we addressed the opportunity.

In Why You Should Trade on Kyan Now,” we outlined what makes this early phase uniquely valuable:

  • zero trading fees (with a negligible insurance fund fee)

  • early access to a new trading system

  • advanced strategy flexibility with combo trades

  • Krystals for trading activity

  • priority access to the referral program

But beyond the tangible benefits, there’s a broader point: Early users get the advantage of learning the system before anyone else. In trading derivatives, that understanding compounds over time.

From Preparation to Reality

March was a transition from controlled environments and simulated conditions into something much less predictable: reality.

Testnet gave us direction, but mainnet introduces a different kind of clarity. It forces systems, assumptions, and design decisions to stand on their own, under real usage and real consequences. Things that looked solid in isolation start interacting in unexpected ways. Edge cases stop being theoretical. User behavior becomes the most important input.

That’s where we are now.

Kyan is live, but still intentionally constrained. Not because it isn’t ready to grow, but because how it grows matters. Each new user, each new trade, adds another layer of signal, helping us understand how the system behaves when it matters. This phase isn’t about speed, but about alignment between assumptions and outcomes.

We’ll keep building, expanding access, and sharing what we learn along the way. Thanks for being here with us!
